Entrepreneurship Development Cell (EDC)


The Entrepreneurship Development Cell (EDC) at Sri Venkateshwara University is established to promote and facilitate entrepreneurship, innovation, and start-up initiatives among students, faculty, and researchers. The Cell serves as a platform to nurture entrepreneurial talent, provide guidance, and foster linkages with industry, incubation centers, and government agencies, thereby contributing to the creation of a vibrant entrepreneurial ecosystem within the University.

Functions of the Entrepreneurship Development Cell
  • To promote entrepreneurship culture and innovative start-up ideas among students and faculty.
  • To organize workshops, seminars, and training programs in collaboration with industry experts and government agencies.
  • To guide and support students in developing business plans and accessing funding opportunities.
  • To establish linkages with industry, MSME, and incubation centers for mentoring and resource sharing.
  • To identify and nurture potential entrepreneurs within the University.

  • Fostering Entrepreneurship: Encouraging creativity, innovation, and business-oriented thinking across the University.
  • Capacity Building: Providing training, mentorship, and resources to transform ideas into sustainable business ventures.
