Offline Mode
- Visit the admission cell located at SVU campus.
- Fill up the application form for admission on prescribed Performa available at the admission counter of the SVU.
- Appear in Sri Venkateshwara University Entrance Examination (if any) followed by GD/PI at a centre fixed by the University, wherever applicable.
- Submit required documents as mentioned in the documents checklist.
- Deposit fee and receive enrolment letter.
- Issue of admission letter.
- You are enrolled at SVU.
Online Mode
- Fill the basic details on SVU Admission Portal to start the registration process.
- Email ID and mobile number verification will be done. After verification, login details (username and password) will be emailed to you.
- Login using the provided credentials.
- Apply by filling the online form along with payment of application fee for the course, subject to eligibility.
- Receive an offer letter for admission from SVU.
- Upload your documents.
- Receive the admission acceptance letter.
- Pay the requisite fees.
- You are enrolled at SVU.
Admission Policy
- A student shall be eligible for admission to any course of study offered by the University if she/he fulfils the eligibility criteria as mentioned in the University Prospectus and follows the admission process prescribed by the University for the particular course.
- Students migrating from other recognized universities/boards are eligible if the examination is equivalent. Transfer of credits as per Ordinance.
- Application forms may be obtained from the admission office or downloaded from the website.
- Admission shall be made strictly on the basis of merit through All-India Common Entrance Test, SVU Entrance Test, Merit, Viva, PI, or combination.
- Entrance examination shall be held at University campus or other notified places.
- Minimum qualifications for admission are prescribed in brochure/website.
- Only candidates who have passed recognized exams shall be considered.
- Admissions made by Admission Committee of concerned Department.
- Syllabi, format, duration, scheme of evaluation decided by University.
- Reservation policy as prescribed by State Government for private universities.
- Any candidate found providing false information will be removed from rolls.
- Minimum 25% seats reserved for Sikkim students.
- Students shall deposit fees as prescribed.
Admission Steps
- Fill up the application form and pay Rs. 1000/- for Diploma/UG or Rs. 1000/- for PG courses.

- Self-attested copies of 10th, 12th, UG, and PG mark sheets (as applicable).
- Self-attested copies of qualifying/entrance examination results.
- Proof of residence.
- Passport size photographs (4 Pcs.).

Fee & Concession
Fee concession for 25% of Sikkim domicile students is based on merit-cum-means:
- One fifth: full tuition fee concession.
- Two fifth: 50% tuition fee concession.
- Balance two fifth: 25% tuition fee concession.
All students shall deposit fees as prescribed by the University on or before the fixed date.
